Glad you see you coming out of your shell a bit more.
:iconisobellefox:
hey Cindy.

Yup. Working on it, for sure.

How are ya doing? I need to come read some of your poetry soon. If things would just slow down a little so I could catch up with everything... : P

I introduced one of my nieces to DA this weekend. She writes poetry and I thought she might post some of it here someday. I sent her a link to your stuff, because I thought she would be inspired by it : )

Hey, girl. I'm okay, thanks. I hear ya on needing things to slow down. I've had a busy last few days, too. I need to get up and mop the kitchen floor, but I think I'm just done for the day. I have company coming in tomorrow and I just keep finding things I need to do...

That's so sweet of you. My poetry's been up and down for a while now, so I don't know how inspiring I am. I hope it won't put her off the genre. heh. If she wants inspiration, she needs to read some of yours. You're terrific.

I had the same thing last weekend. Had company and spent half a day running around trying to get this place looking liveable. ::laughs:: It'll wear ya out. Give yourself a break, though. Hopefully the company is coming to see YOU and not your floor : )

As for you being inspiring: that goes without saying. : )

You sound kind of down. I hope everything is okee. Your poetry is beautiful, and I love it. Have some faith in yourself - here :::gives you some of mine:::

I've cut my heart out, so you can catch a glimpse of my RawEm0tion

"I'm sorry I'm not cheerier; I tried to cut myself today and it didn't really work out..."

That's so kind of you, sweetheart, thanks. I have been a bit down, I guess. Kinda lost a friend not long ago. I mean, he's still around, but we're not really friends anymore. I think he sees me as more of a pest than a friend. That's been hard for me. Also had some family really let me down the last couple of days. You'd think I'd be used to that by now...

But I'll have friends here tomorrow and that's a good thing, right? :aww:

Thanks for the encouragement. It means a lot. Truly.

HOWDY! ::laughs::

Awww, that's no good. But honestly, its his loss. I know that doesn't make it feel any better to lose a friend, but its true.

And who knows. Maybe he will come around and things will be ok. Good friendships can have some desperately rocky moments and survive them unscathed. Its sort of a requirement, actually : P

And yes, it is good that you have friends coming. Bask in the glow of that and enjoy their company. It'll help to heal the wound.

As for the encouragement: how many times in the last year have you listened to me and lifted my spirits? I've lost count, personally. And see, you haven't declared ME a pest yet! ::laughs::

Hang in there, ok? And let me know if I can help in any way.

Goodness, no, sweet, you're never a pest. I've never had anyone think I was a pest either, so it was all a little...I don't know...mortifying? Is that the word I want? Yes, that's true about good friendships surviving rocky times. Maybe that will prove true again.

Have a great week and thanks again.
